Will Remapping invalidate my vehicles warranty?

99% of the vehicles we Remap are accessed via the on board diagnostic socket (OBD), as such we leave no physical evidence of our work. Main dealers can still access the ECU with their diagnostic equiptment should the need ever arise, all codes from the factory remain unchanged.

 

Can a Remap be reversed?

Yes it can, If for any reason you wish to remove out tuned software and return the vehicle back to its factory state. We will carry this out free of charge if the vehicle is returned to us, other wise a £50 call out charge will be applied.

 

Will fuel consumption suffer?

No, If you continue to drive your vehicle as you did before the Remap you will usually see a 10-15% increase in mpg.

 

What about premature engine wear?

Sadly some engines can be overtuned by amateurs, stressing the engine. turbo, gearbox and clutch. This is why it is important that you find the right company to carry out your Remap, We take great care, ensuring that our software upgrades have no detramental effects on your vehicles engine. All of our software is tried and tested and TUV approved.

 

Remap or Tuning box?

Plug and play tuning boxes trick your vehicles ECU providing an increase in fuel rail pressure, great for BHP figures, but not for Torque! Our Tuned software is modified from your vehicles original software, hundreds of parameters are changed and a full custom Remap is produced. A tuning box will never compare to a Full custom Remap.

 

Do you offer any warranty?

All of our Remaps carry a lifetme software warranty for the original owner.
